Wake Up, Make Something
Masking is the use of materials to protect areas in your composition that you want to remain unchanged. This brings forth an opportunity to create involved layers or depth in a piece. In this workshop, we're gonna dabble with a little bit of each form of masking as you throw several types of media on a large sheet of paper. You'll be provided with masking tape, liquid frisket, and frisket sheets to adhere onto your paper in any which way you'd like as well as watercolor, acrylic, ink, and spray paint. Different forms of masking have different ways of being used, cut, applied, and removed which we'll explain in detail and walk you through. This workshop is great for anyone who's interested in learning about how to control their materials more or introduce a new method of experimentation to their art practice. ALL CLASSES ARE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AS A RESULT OF COVID-19..All materials are included in the admission fee.Classes are non-refundable so please make sure to take a moment to double-check your schedule before signing up.
