Wake Up, Make Something
When was the last time you made art among friends and peers? When was the last time you talked about your artistic practice? Maybe it's been a long time. Maybe it's only been a little while. Maybe it's been never. Some go to school to study art and achieve a challenging critical dialogue with the other students only to find that upon leaving the institution, the dialogue stops. Some want more. Some just want to hang out with like minded makers and have some fun.
If ANY of these are you, join us for Open Studio nights at the Blue Rooster! Let's hang out and make stuff together. Every Thursday evening 6:30-9:30 we will open our doors and studio space to you, for free. Bring in your current work to both work on, and if you want, discuss. We can talk materials, technique, theory, and more. A pretty good poet said "stay critical or die". See you in the studio!
