Comic Making 101 | Expression through Painting | Silkscreening

Besides our ever popular silkscrening workshops, we have two other classes currently running at our Atwater Studio.
Comic Making 101 with Kiyoshi Nakazawa is about to enter it's fourth session. This five week course focuses on the creation of narrative through images. That's right, comics! We are extremely lucky to have a resource such as Kiyoshi here at the Studio, and urge you to take advantage of his know how before he gets swept away by fame and glory. Also look for his Intermediate class Comics 102 and his Pen and Ink Illustration Workshop coming soon.
New to the studio this March is Marjam Oskoui and her class Express Yourself. This is a painting class that focuses on the act of expression rather than the finished product. Marjam is the only trained professional in the United States in teaching this method of semiotic expression. We are tremendously excited to have Marjam bring this class to Atwater Studio.
